Let's Get Wet! Flat Water Fun
Sharpen your rescue reflexes (and have a lot of fun doing it!) in this class held at Lake Sebago in Harriman State Park.
We’re not kidding with the name of this class: You can expect to get wet and stay wet for a good part of the day! As we go in and out of the calm, clean water of Lake Sebago, we’ll work on all kinds of re-entry and recovery (AKA rescue) scenarios, such as T-rescues, scrambles, paddle float self-rescues, re-enter and rolls, scoops, and more. You’ll go home with sharpened rescue reflexes and more confidence with both self-rescue and assisted rescue techniques. Prerequisites: L2 kayaking skills or permission of instructor.
