ACA L3 Skills Assessment

This assessment is for paddlers who want to determine whether their skills, experience, and knowledge meet the criteria for ACA Level 3: Coastal Kayaking. It is intended for those who already have a strong foundation in a decked kayak and want formal evaluation against Level 3 standards.

Assessment areas may include strokes and maneuvers, edging, rescue skills, navigation, decision-making, and response to wind, waves, current, and other changing coastal conditions. This is not an instructional class, but an opportunity to assess readiness and receive clear feedback on your skills.

Prerequisites: L3 kayak skills and ACA member
